Rock ‘n’ roll and existentialism—a match made in the coolest of all possible heavens. Eddie and the Cruisers details the meteoric rise and tragic fall of a band so ahead of their time that the songs they released in the early 60’s sound exactly like they were written by…

Though I enjoyed all the original songs in this film, I found the story a bit lackluster. Overall it was a pretty good film with some great music, it just felt like the story was just incomplete.
I have no clue why this movie totally unavailable for streaming but it’s a fantastic watch.
