Synopsis

Los Angeles detective Jack Radcliff fields a distressed phone call from his niece Ashley and rushes to the rescue only to find the girl and her parents dead in an apparent murder-suicide. Then, just as the police department declares the killings an open-and-shut case, Jack gets another call from Ashley. With the cell-phone connection acting as a link between the past and the present, Jack urges Ashley to collect clues that will help him to solve her murder and change her fate.

Really good action packed movie. Loved the suspense. This movie was different from all the other murder/suspense movies. Will watch again

The first 20-25 minutes were the only decent segment of the movie. The girl actress was pretty decent bit the movie was sort of a snooze. And the ending didn't offer up much resolution because the filmmakers realized they boxes themselves into a corner. if you want to see a superior film with a similar storyline, check out Frequency .

On paper, Don’t Let Go’s premise — a supernaturally flecked crime story with a hint of time travel — should be exciting but it is let down down by workaday writing and routine filmmaking.

Estes finds a way to twist things up, organically adding a Groundhog Day element. Time's still moving forward toward Ashley's death, but the detective work gets more interesting.
