Are you safe at home? Lauren Curran (Christina Ricci) is an artist with bipolar disorder who is recovering from the loss of a child. Seeking a more peaceful existence, she and her husband Russell (Brendan Fletcher) decide to move into the Pinnacle, a modern, luxury condominium complex with state-of-the-art features and security systems. The peace they sought does not last long, as Lauren soon suspects that someone is using the Pinnacle’s residents as high-tech guinea pigs in a subliminal psychological experiment. With the help of an investigative journalist focused on cyber-conspiracy (John Cusack), Lauren sets out to determine whether she is imagining things or whether, in fact, she and her husband are victims of a terrifying scheme.
