Atom User Reviews for Diana Ross: Her Life, Love and Legacy
There was nothing about her life, nor her legacy. It was all about the concert (which was fabulous); but the title is totally misleading. Also the editing was horrible. They kept repeating themselves (news anchors comments, for example), rather than giving us insights to her upbringing and her rise to the top. The title was totally misleading.
Diana is great. The movie, though was disappointing for a few reasons. The title "... Life and Legacy" indicates that her life story would be told but there was minimal bio info. Also, the editing created unnecessary repeats. Odd ending. Still glad for the effort.
Itโs gotta be a five star!!.. itโs Diana Ross!
The added footage was fun and interesting to see. Unfortunately this was so edited down from the original. Many, many songs and performances were edited out of the film version. Too many to mention here, but trust me I know this concert well from being there and having the original footage. It was fun to see it on the big screen though.
Title was misleading. It was a poorly edited concert. Interesting to know about, great to watch her captivate the audience and hear her amazing voice. After a while, it was very redundant and we didnโt learn about her life or legacy. So we left the theater.
only thing better is seeing Diana in person
I thought the movie was faaaaabulos! ๐๐ฏ Learned things I didn't know about Diana and her family. However, I must say it would have been so much more if the two people next us hadn't talked & played with their phones the whole time.๐ฅ๐ช I told them how rude they were when the movie was over.
Thot there would be more story about her life. Struggles, sucess, ect..
I HAVE LOVED DIANA ROSS ALL MY LIFE, SHE IS TRULY A LIVING ICON!
The sound system was a bit too loud, causing the music to be a blare and, thus, making the experience unpleasant. Also, the seats were very uncomfortable as there was no way of sitting upright without placing a wadded-up jacket between my back and the the seat. Otherwise, it was a delight to see the film. I will avoid this theatre at all cost, if only for the uncomfortable seats and blaring sound system.
Just wished had shown more of her life. Otherwise I loved it
I Paid to See a Free Concert! This time, it was worth it!
Great!!!
Phenomenal!!!
Perfect Mother Daughter Date! Love Diana Ross sheโs absolutely amazing.
Very few make it to superstardom. She will live on forever just as Elvis, Mozart and the Beatles have.
A must see for any New Yorker! An amazing womanโs performance in the center of an amazing city!
I liked it. For 2 hours I thought it would be more about her life, struggles and trials and tribulation
Would rather watch Diana than the audience so much.
