Atom User Reviews for Depeche Mode: Spirits in the Forest
If you love the band then it is very emotional. If your just a fan then it is still a good concept and the songs are great.
Awesome 1 night trip with Depeche Mode
Great film and an introspective look into how Depeche Mode has touched the lives for their fans. Very personal and sincere.
If you love the band, you really enjoy it
I had a great time with “my people” in our church! Only slight negative was that there wasn’t a song featured that was sung by Martin Gore .. next time please!
Definite must see if you love Depeche Mode!
Awesome highlights of the tour. Great to be able to relate with it on so many levels. Emotional yet energetic!! Great job DM!
You need to be a fan and love the music to enjoy the movie. Great music, emotional
Love this band. Great tribute to thier fans .
Took my 14 year old. He loves Depeche Mode almost as much as I do. Nice to have something that is just ours together. It was interesting to hear other people’s stories that revolve around the band.
Shows what the real fan community is like, and love that is shared.
It made me want to get up and dance!
Loved DM + DMK!!!
Great time for depeche mode fans!!
It was just ok, not what I expected, but informative, would of liked it to be more like a concert and I missed the beginning because of the start time being off. Was enjoyable since the showing was almost empty even though they advertised it was sold out.
I loved this film! So interesting to see the stories of the fans, and even better to see them enjoying their (and my) favorite band during the concert. I went to the same tour show (but in San Diego, CA) so this was really cool to see the way they captured it on film. Loved the way they edited the movie too... excellent. Might have to see it again!
As a die hard fan since Day 1, loved it!!!! Concert footage was fantastic!! Loved to watch the sweat roll down Dave's face!!! A must see for any kind of DM fan. Made me appreciate their talent even more!!! Pls make more like this!!!
I had it in my head that this was a filmed concert event, but it was an experience piece featuring DM fans from across the globe with live concert footage intermixed. I left wanting more. Thoroughly enjoyable for any long-time or recent Depeche Mode fan.
I’m a major DM fan and enjoyed each clip of the live performance, but the fan content was just meh.
Great concert !
Enjoyed it and yet was left wanting so much more.
Been a fan for 37 years! This band just gets better and better. Need an2020 tour!
Such a great story of people brought together by music.
Too short. I would have liked more DMK and about an hour more concert footage.
Soy Fan Depeche pero siento que faltaron canciones, debía ser más largo!
I absolutely loved this. True DM fan until I die! Wish I could've part of this small group for the lest show of World Tour.
So uplifting and show the true power of music!!!
Every DM fan must see! we all connect with the featured fans, as audience we sang, clapped, cried and connected, simply beautiful.
Awesome concert footage of their last show in Berlin, seeing the fans with their back stories was interesting. Not a film for casual fans definitely for the hardcore :)
Amazing! Like they remade 101, but this time put some effort into it. The stories were great and the live footage was awe inspiring.
Very well done! I thoroughly enjoyed following the fans’ adventure; however, I would’ve liked to see more of the band and more actual concert footage.
Very emotional for me as a fan. Went with someone not as familiar & they appreciated seeing perspectives on how a band can become a spiritual experience for so many people around the world. Wonderful cinematic footage! A must for any DM fan!! ❤
Amazing story about a phenomenal band and how they have inspired and affected so many different lives in the same way. Thank you, DEPECHE MODE!
Outstanding film that captures the incredible way Depeche Mode connects to fans. Thank you!
Like I was at a private concert, inspiring. Love the story and people. LOVE LOVE Dave.
It was fun to see segments of the concert since I have never been to one. I liked the personal stories but at the end if felt a little like a filler. One of the songs was cut short in lieu of a fan's story. I was disappointed with that for sure. It was a short movie for 15 dollars as well as missing a few of their other popular songs like master and servant.
Although it was nice to see the concert in the perspective of the fans I would have liked to see more about the musicians, the studio and how they go about actually making their songs. Also wanted to see a timeline from origins to now and not just focus on one concert.
Precious and uplifting tale of six disparate fan’s Journey in Life as Depeche Mode music lovers that arrive together at a Berlin Germany Depeche Mode concert in Summer 2018.
Great movie wish it would have been in more theaters very touching and I took my foster son now 28 yo ,loved it that he knew the words of every song, he was signing along in the movie which made it that much special
Really interesting and unique perspective. A different point of view which still delivered the focus on the band and the true power of their music
