It’s really sad when something this special that was made from such an artistic and creative place gets in the hands of people who think they know what’s best for audiences. I love Daft Punk and I love this anime but the AI upscaling did absolutely nothing and basically ruined what would’ve otherwise being an amazing viewing experience. Please stop utilizing AI to ruin hand drawn art and animation.
If you're a fan of Daft Punk, you'll love this movie. If not, you probably won't enjoy it. I love Daft Punk so of course I loved this film! Amazing animation, amazing music, amazing time!
Metacritic
This could be projected on to a wall at a club, but actually being made to sit down and watch it in a cinema is a weird experience.

Fine if you like the band - you'll be treated to some cartoons playing over the top of their Discovery album. For everyone else, just daft.
