Roger: Damn, that's my favorite song of all time. I play this in August, I don't even care. John Cena is a treasure.

I realize I’m in the minority here but I really enjoy Daddy’s Home 2. The first daddy’s home movie was decent enough and in my opinion this sequel is a huge improvement over it. Having Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg as friends from the start, bringing in John Lithgow and…
BrennanDec 22, 2023Mel Gibson playing a toxically masculine, casually violent, misogynistic, deadbeat dad.😱 Seems like a stretch for him but okay.🤦♀️ Will Ferrell, Linda Cardellini and John Lithgow are just about likeable enough to make up for Marky Mark’s shitty acting and Mel Gibson’s…
Jade talks too much🎅🏻🎄Nov 18, 201855 A bible-belt christmas/Ford Flex commercial with John Lithgow *and* John Cena, Mel Gibson, and the Ferrell/Wahlberg duo. Deeply confusing. Full of odd bursts of sadistic physical comedy like the first one, so at least it's consistent. Mel Gibson looks truly embarrassed…

This is one of those rare times when a sequel is actually better than the original. I actually enjoyed it. I liked the humour and found the character development nice to watch. I liked the fact the relationships were already established and we got to see them grow.
I like this one abit more than the first. Not only was it a Christmas movie but, I liked the new characters a lot especially don. I also thought this was a lot funnier. Even tho the first one was so funny! Definitely will watch this from now on during Christmas time every year!!

this was better than the first one. it had way more funny moments and some solid character development too. some jokes still felt a little forced, but that’s expected for a family comedy. nothing crazy, but definitely a fun movie to watch at least once
A underrated Christmas movie, the movie is very entertaining and has great moments and is actually funny, very rewatchable, fun for the whole family, definitely would recommend you watch at least once, good sequel, but nothing spectacular, 6.3/10

There were only a few things we didn't like was the men kissing, the siblings kissing, and the homosexual undertones.
I would have rated this movie higher if it weren't for male kissing scenes, underage use of alcohol and kissing, and the obscene language. I thought overall it was a decent movie. Good messages were sprinkled in along the way.

Holiday movies don’t have to be good, they just have to be comfortable, and by that regrettable standard “Daddy’s Home 2” mostly gets the job done.
Much of the “humor” in Daddy’s Home 2 is of questionable taste at best.
The script is so starved of originality, jokes and slapstick laughs that Burns pushed his actors to deliver lines faster and faster. Wahlberg, always antic on the set with Ferrell, hurtles through his dialogue in a near-slurred blur...It rarely pays off, as the jokes are just lame.
