Brilliant script & character writing. Loved the post credits scene. LOVED going into this movie 100% blind. Was completely shocked by the twists, amazing feeling. — Josh nicknaming her “beep boop” is crazy work.
way better than i expected. story telling is great, thrilling, & dark. cinematography is very beautiful, loved the soundtrack & sound design. the eye vfx blew my mind. great vfx overall, felt very realistic and authentic. the cast was perfect, loved the chemistry between sophie & jack. definitely…
This is one of those movies that you will love if you don’t know the twist. If you do, it’s still fun, but less enjoyable of a love. So go in blind if you can. There’s so many little hints as to what’s going on that when it’s finally revealed, the foreshadowing is so rewarding. The film is a…

Thatcher nation rise! Ex Machina for the girlies. I wish the trailer didn't spoil that she was an android.
So good, so interesting. i thought i knew what to expect from this movie but dang, was i wrongg Couldn’t get past the feeling that these relationships resemble real life ones, which is kinda terrifying ngl

Disappointed to say the least I would definitely not recommend this movie the perversion was really a turn off intimacy with a robot is perversion on another level tasteless
This movie is nothing close to what I was expecting...in a good way. There were funny moments and unexpected moments too. If you're on the fence about watching this...it is well worth the leap. My fiancee and I really enjoyed this film!
Metacritic
For a film about advanced technology, it’s all awfully simple.
At a time when the tech industry is continually attempting to force AI down our throats, there’s something cloying about a film so nakedly insistent that a robot can replace a human being it portrays almost all the humans in the story as self-serving and villainous.
The film’s satire is barn-door broad, its humor sidelong and sharp enough to take the edge off the gore.
