Is it a dumb movie? Yes, but there’s still some Christmas charm wrapped in this chaotic piece that makes it likable and dare I say, enjoyable. Possibly just so silly it’s good.

9/10 I don’t get the hate I’ve heard some people have for this movie this has always been one of my fav Christmas movies. It’s silly and ridiculous but that’s what I expect and it’s lighthearted.

Moral of the story: Give in to peer pressure especially when it’s financially inconvenient for you and non-enjoyable because it’s “tradition”. I disliked every second of it for that. But thats what you get with a lead actor whose biggest problem is that he can’t use the n word

A good basic plot for a Christmas film, ruined by the frustration of watching selfish 'Christmas' people promoting every value against Christmas. The only thing that is Christmasy about this film are the tacky decorations plastered everywhere, it just paints the US badly. Meh..5⭐️

Absolutely love this movie, I watch it every year & laugh just as hard as I did the first time I watched it. Tim Allen & Jamie Lee Curtis are perfect, their antics & the chaos they create by skipping Christmas are hilarious. & the older couple always has me tearing up at the end🥹

A nice Christmas movie about a couple that wanted to go away for the holidays and have to deal with the fallout of their neighborhood. Lots of funny Christmas hijinks happen, and in the end, the neighborhood comes together to help them out. 7.1/10 ☃️
