Angel likedCarrieCarrie was so beautiful but I felt the shower scene was super unnecessary and how they depicted highschool girls naked at the beginning was just not needed. But carrie had like extreme religious trauma and everyone was horrible to her for no reason, I think she deserved better!

Based on Stephen King’s first published novel, from 1974, and in fact the first cinematic adaptation of that well-read author, Carrie dramatises all manner of first times, as Carrie gets her period, falls in love, and is ultimately penetrated, killing – and maybe dy(e)ing – in deep, deep red.

Carrie is just a bad movie, with only Spacek's performance making significant portions of it watchable. And the film has not improved with age. It looks just as cheap, cheesy, and ineptly made today as it did when it was first released.
