The most unrealistic part of this movie is that the president actually went to prison for his crimes
whenthepawn___Feb 11, 2025When Cap earnestly says to Hulkiana Jones “Remember this place? You used to come here with Betty” and it’s literally a CGI parking lot…baby that’s comedy

At least they based this movie off the three most beloved Marvel properties of all time: The Eternals, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and The Incredible Hulk Read my review at Decoding Everything
David ChenFeb 11, 2025A movie for anyone who watched The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and thought, "I wish this were longer and worse and also somehow a direct sequel to The Incredible Hulk."
Louis PeitzmanFeb 12, 2025That wasn't Red Hulk on screen, that was actually an accurate depiction of Harrison Ford being asked who shot first

6.9 - I guess my rating is looking kind of high, but I’ve just accepted that the MCU needs to exclusively be “shut my brain off & don’t judge it too harshly” media now. First, it’s more of a sequel to “The Incredible Hulk” than it is a Captain America story, which is fine but I just don’t care for…
This one stunk but could have been a lot better. There’s definitely concepts of a good movie, but every good moment drowns in a sea of slop. Also I still want a Red Hulk skin in Marvel Rivals. Also also Death to Israel, 1.5/5
Criminally underrated to say the least as the action is fully refined to the upmost degree making it feel like classic marvel is back in town. Loved every bit, not to mention the fact they ended it with a Kendrick Lamar song . Overall 9.1/10 may be cinema bias but phenomenal

Idk why some people are saying this is horrible. It’s not on the same level as The Winter Solider and has its flaws but still enjoyable. I’m happy with Antony Mackie’s performance as Cap and some scenes do hit. I’d say this movie is worth it.
At its core, this feels like two completed films very poorly stitched together; only made worse through what can only be described as breakneck, borderline ridiculous editing. While there’s no lack of chemistry the script’s handling of characters is insulting, presentations just feel unnatural. The…

I really really enjoyed this movie. I believe it is getting extremely overhated for no real reason as I think it’s one of the better movies Marvel has produced recently. I think the story was fantastic, the first real grounded MCU film in a long time, the acting was great, and Mackie really filled…
It was a disappointment, it is a good action film overall, but not a good Marvel film. It feels so wrong watching Anthony Mackie’s Captain America. I love him, but as Falcon. The one and only Captain America is Chris Evans. If you want to watch a chilling movie than this is a good choice.

Never believe what the critics say. It was better than the 50% score they gave it. Be your own judge
I don't understand the hate this movie is getting. it's awesome. The story was great and easy to follow with some surprises, the action was cool, it had humor and the acting was great by everyone.
Metacritic
It’s a humourless drag of a picture, overreliant on clunky exposition and naive geopolitical posturing. Plus it’s ugly, with a greasy murkiness that looks as though the lens was smeared with lard.
Don’t sweat the small stuff (or even the Marvel brand) and Captain America: Brave New World proves itself to be a decent political thriller with something culturally resonant to say that exceeds mere comic book particulars.
There isn’t a laugh or light moment in this unwieldy beast of a movie. As a political allegory, it doesn’t play. As Marvel action pic, it’s sorely lacking. At least they spared no expense in the cherry blossoms dept.
