"Bert, what the hell is that?"" "Huh? Oh, I'm gonna go shoot some squirrels." "Why would you wanna kill squirrels?" "'cause they're gay." "Bert, don't be a fucking retard." "I'm kidding. I don't care if they're gay or straight, I'll kill 'em either way." "PANCAKES!…

This made me hungry for pancakes. Also, is it weird that I find the ending so hilarious?

Hey, it's me, your shitty friend that'll defend Eli Roth to the death. 2025 update: his movies, I'll defend his movies to the death.

this movie is nasty and pretty messy… you can definitely tell that this is made by the same guy that did hostel, he really knows how to make painfully unlikeable characters that you don’t mind seeing the horror elements happen to, i like hostel a lot more but this was okay
This was pretty good actually. It was funny as well; I liked the end with the old man. This movie was definitely giving off some strong 2002 vibes lmao. I did like it. I would probably watch it again but not for a while. I liked how it set it up for a sequel.

Campy as all hell, but that's more a product of the time than anything. A little gory and disturbing, but not nearly as much as some of Roth's later films. Definitely one of those movies you watch with a group of friends and don't take too seriously.

A pretty good and underrated remake! Most people dismissed this movie simply because they heard it was a remake. But I feel like it corrects a lot of problems I had with the original which was pretty good to begin with.
A group of young college students go to a cabin at the lake to let loose and have fun. Doesn’t take long to make them wish they were back in their dorms enjoying themselves, anything but what’s happening to them now.
