the story was kinda lame, full of cheating, comedy? i wouldn't say so. only funny character was brad pitt + i started watching for brad pitt only, to find out, HE WILL DIE FOR SUCH A STOOPID REASON. there are obviously worse movies in general, but this one ain't it i guess 2/10

It was easy to almost lose track of how the characters had reached the point they were at, which can be good and bad. Overall a great spoof on spy movies, where the spies are barely a part of it. Need a laugh? This is it.

i personally find this film to be a weaker project from the coen brothers with humor and narrative beats that don’t always land; that being said, the writing is strong, the cinematography is excellent, and there are incredible performances from an ensemble cast

Nothing about the project's execution inspires the feeling that this was ever intended as anything more than a lark, which would be fine if it were a good one. As it is, audience teeth-grinding sets in early and never lets up.

Either the Coens failed, or I didn't figure out what they're attempting. I must be like Harry or Osborne, pretending to a sophistication I lack. Burn After Reading is a movie about stupidity that left me feeling stupid.
