Fineeee I’ll kidnap and torture Jeff Bezos 🤷♂️ For legal purposes this is a joke meant to illicit a dumb response of humor. The author of this review does not mean any ill harm to a corporate executive at this time. It is satirical in nature only, thank you.
FramesofnickOct 11, 2025probably yorgos’ funniest effort. Love me a dark satire that exposes our times many flaws. conspiracies motivated by corporate caused pain, and the everlasting rage towards people in opposing classes. How easy it is to be convinced when in a vulnerable position, and how far…

So many expressions were made by me in the cinema. I didn’t actually expect her to be an alien! It dives into thoughtful conspiracies. I wouldn’t say I “loved” it but I’ll say amazing work (on the art side)
A suspenseful Thriller that disguises its spoonful of antifreeze for honey to keep us guessing about earthly things and which bubbles will burst.

Take me to your Leader. I want to give this a higher rating, but I think the ending hurt it more than helped it. 7/10

I wish the twist happened halfway through the movie and then the 2nd half could have been a different plot about how the aliens had to stop the truth from spreading or something like that. I felt the original plot dragged on too long and the twist was a bit anticlimatic. Was…

Yorgos’ most accessible film to date because it’s not written by him (more grounded and overtly funny); a sharp satire on topical issues of class relations and political extremists. Excellent performances from everyone, even the unknown guy Aiden Delbis.
This was just too painfully slow for me. The last act got interesting and picked up for sure but not enough for me to enjoy this movie overall.

There’s always a message in every movie and this one had several, if you can read in between the lines of course 🤭
Truly was an interesting movie and I was surprised at the ending. I really enjoyed this movie. Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons are amazing.
Metacritic
Plemons and Stone, who has become the director’s Oscar-winning muse, are terrifyingly real. And the allegory of a civilization in crisis lured like lemmings off this or that cliff of lunacy lands hard.
What the film does so well, though, is bring enormous compassion to a story that initially seems to despair for the world.
Lacking distinctive social commentary, meaningful character development, or a salient environmental angle, the update feels all but incapable of speaking to the moment.
