Very good, thoughtful story that will absolutely resonate with men with kids who are older.
A droll and vigorous psychological study of an everyday egomaniac, but we’ve seen Stiller do this sort of thing before, and better.
Stiller is very good at playing this kind of character. The issue is whether we’re tired of him playing this kind of character.
The film becomes so self-aware that it’s tough to discern whether we should take what’s happening seriously or not.
