Most wonderful performances, staging and costumes beautiful. Have enjoyed the Bolshoi ballets for years now and cannot think of a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Fills me with joy!

Performance was excellent: dancers were graceful, elegant, and enthusiastic in their performances. Costumes and scenery were creative. My only negative comment was the commentary and the beginning and intermission. She switched from Russian, to French, to English fluidly as if it were all one sentence. I’m sure there was good information to be shared, but I couldn’t focus. During the intermission when she was interviewing the ballet master, I tuned out and focused on the dancers practicing in the background. My suggestion is to just declare “Intermission” on screen or, like the description ls for Acts 1 and 2, write brief facts that would be of interest about the composer, choreographer, performance. I did enjoy the interview with the ballerina at the beginning, which was subtitled. I will definitely attend another Fathom Event ballet performance.
