Casey Lindeweiler inherits a small Pennsylvania radio station from his father, and a whole bunch of problems come with it. The local AM radio outpost is drowning in debt and barely staying on the air. Casey has to come up with a way to save his father’s legacy, and fast. So he falls back on what so many radio promoters have done: He stages a crazy contest.

The desperate new owner brainstorms a “billboard-sitting” contest in which four contestants will live on a catwalk in front of a billboard. Whoever lasts the longest will win thousands of dollars and a mobile home. But the contest goes on far longer than Casey ever expected, forcing him to deal with hostile competitors, his own flagging willpower, and the rigors of Mother Nature.
