Synopsis
Better Man is based on the true story of the meteoric rise, dramatic fall, and remarkable resurgence of British pop superstar Robbie Williams, one of the greatest entertainers of all time. Under the visionary direction of Michael Gracey (The Greatest Showman), the film is uniquely told from Williams’ perspective, capturing his signature wit and indomitable spirit. It follows Robbie’s journey from childhood, to being the youngest member of chart-topping boyband Take That, through to his unparalleled achievements as a record-breaking solo artist – all the while confronting the challenges that stratospheric fame and success can bring.

KarstenSep 10, 2024At long last, a movie where a cgi monkey pounds cocaine, gets jerked off, and hangs with Oasis
Chris FeilJan 10, 2025It's me, The Guy Who Does Not Like Music Biopics here to report that this contains every music biopic cliche I hate and yet somehow it works. I will be yelling about this movie to anyone within earshot for the next year but the most important things about it to me…

Should not work but is batshit and honest enough to avoid the sickening pastiness of dull biopics like ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’. Long in the tooth and overstimulating but entertaining all the way through. Would be curious what non-brits take from it…

This movie amazed me. I came into the theatre never expecting what would come. The story, the acting, the choreography, everything was great! I would love to watch this film again.
Not terrible and is creative but bro nobody outside of the UK give a flying f#€£ about Robbie Williams. Just a boring film through and through.

I’m biased as hell because I’ve been a Robbie fan since Take That. But beyond that…this movie is a masterpiece even if you aren’t aware of who Robbie Williams is.

Was not expecting to cry at this at all, but somehow I couldn't stop. The older Robbie gets, the more of a fan I become. Listening to his discography, it's clear where his hurt and healing lie, but to see it intertwined with insane visuals like this? It's heartbreak amplified through stage…

I loved it. I am not really a fan of musicals but this one form the start had me hooked. Form the beginning of childhood to adulthood you will ever learn more about this man then whatever book or tv-show can ever provide you with. It's a movie worth watching and learning…
SPSean ParkerWanted to like it, walked out an hour in. For someone who’s not a great singer the ego is insane, not funny either

Takes all the typical biopic beats and makes them less of a cliche. Such an original film
