Too many villains not enough time for story was expecting more from a Tim burton film

Fun! ... But- it's clear that this is setting up for a potential third movie. If that is the case then this is a good sequel that sets up new characters and interesting (and funny) plotlines. If we don't get a third movie then sadly this one is a bit of a letdown. It opens up so many doors early on but doesn't pay off with so many of them at the end. That being said, I think the jokes were great, and Michael Keaton absolutely kills it. It had me laughing pretty hard again and again. Definitely worth a watch!

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice relies on your familiarity with and memory of those performances. It’s a fun journey down memory lane. It won’t take you anywhere new, particularly, but let’s face it, that’s not why most people will take the trip.

Since this is a Tim Burton movie, you can safely assume the love story is the most twisted subplot of all. Still, the actors hold our interest and make the movie believable.

Was a sequel really necessary? Probably not, but thanks to Burton’s offbeat genius and a fine cast that is game for anything and everything, it’s a welcome exercise in ghostly nostalgia.
