Synopsis

BECOMING LED ZEPPELIN is the first ever authorized documentary about the band. The film charts the early musical influences and careers of each bandmate before diving deep into their first two albums and subsequent tours. The film features “never-before-seen” footage, remastered sound and video, and audio interviews with John Bonham that have been kept private for decades. Full songs play in the film, making it feel just like a concert.

    I really do wish I had known this only covers the first two albums

    contains some electric live performances but otherwise a fairly run of the mill documentary with an abrupt ending that made this feel like part one to a two or three part series, they didn't even cover Stairway to Heaven 😓

Overall, this is a likable and well-researched film, but there is something unsatisfying in ignoring the band’s later stages. Perhaps Part II is in the works.
