  • Christina Applegate's character, Gwendolyn James, had two children both girls. The last family comedy she starred in was Vacation (2015), in which she had two boys.
  • Gwendolyn mentions her DVR no longer recording "Castle." Castle was canceled the year Bad Moms was released.
