Albeit it’s a bit odd to see him swing the other way considering he’s played very masculine roles in the past. This movie is fine; an intriguing crime story based on true events.

7.5/10 Being from Long Island and not knowing about this story, being able to learn about it was very interesting. Pretty enjoyable cast overall but Hugh Jackman in particular did a spectacular job playing a type of character I’ve never seen him do before.

This isn’t a movie about car chases and explosions, it’s about the squirmy but satisfying feeling of watching justice done, and it’s a pleasure to watch the pieces fall into place.

It’s perhaps less flamboyantly enjoyable than Finley’s first feature, but it also digs deeper into the souls of its characters, asking how a few people meant to ensure the pedagogy of hundreds of children could flunk out so badly.
