When a midlife crisis pushes them to finally go for it, they head deep into the Amazon to start filming.

Jumanji 4: Welcome to Anaconda
enri ツ ꩜🧪Dec 17, 2025This gotta be like the fifth or sixth movie where Jack Black ventures into the jungle on some dangerous mission.. Studios must see Jack Black and the jungle as some sort of magical box office money making machine.

haleyDec 18, 2025Did you like the new Anaconda movie? There are two types of people. No, it was dumb! Yes, it was dumb! Are you in the mood for a dumb comedy? Well look no further. Anaconda scratches that itch. There’s also some good comedic nostalgia. The tropical river adventure…

Genuinely funny and rewatchable. I would watch a version of this for every horror movie, way better than how original actors are treated in other remakes (like Jurassic World Dominion)
The dummest of humor and I’m here for it. My boys Jack, Paul, and Steve just had an absolute blast making this, I know it. Watched it with bro in theatre and I was dying having a good time. All the hardos that think this isn’t funny need to learn how to smile and laugh. Those who say the story is…

music was fire but i thought it was gonna be more jack black comedy. but i liked the Ice T and JLo cameo
Fun popcorn flick. Laughed quite a few times. My only gripe was they killed off the best character!
Obviously lacking in a lot of things but the main thing is that it’s pretty funny, and there is in fact an anaconda. Also ice cube shows up for legit two seconds, says he’s gonna go do something and then we don’t see him again, pretty weird. It was pretty funny and decently entertaining which is…

Honestly, way funnier than I expected. If you’re in the right mood, this is a fun watch. The movie as a whole isn’t anything that’s good, but there are small scenes to appreciate. 6
Very slapstick, with lots of jumpscares. The jokes did at times feel a bit predictable or primitive but what can you expect from this type of film?

I couldn't stop laughing 🤣 😆 😂 😭
The film reminded me of tropic thunder with Jack black’s involvement and the film within the film. The dialogue was hilariously written. A good family fun holiday flick

Whenever there’s a lull here, a big laugh soon comes along with the force of a boa constrictor that conceals the flaws.
The comedy level is well-sustained throughout the film. There is no shortage of comedy in the first half. But it really is the second half when one is able to stop making the predictions and relax into the laughs. At that point, all snake hell breaks loose and the pace accelerates quickly enough that it’s easier to go along with it.
It’s an inspired idea, even though a lot of the industry inside jokes may go over most moviegoers’ heads. The playfulness of this self-referential structure gives the movie a zany energy off the top that it ultimately can’t sustain.
