Atom User Reviews for American Made
It's a good movie to watch on the weekend and if there's nothing else to do .
Tom Cruise did a great job. He was an unusual pick but he really showed his diversity as an actor.
the best movie about fast money and the us involvement in the contras/drug trade ever. see this film!!

Though interesting, it's the same story you're hearing now a days. America is bad. America is responsible for all the world's troubles: drugs, guns, violence, etc. It's another reason thrown against government. Yeah, yeah. We've all heard it. What will the next generation do with USA. Make it better with same-sex marriage, transgenderism, legalized marijuana? I highly doubt it.
weird ending
Tom Cruise was great in this.
not quite worth it
Great plot line and good movie. just slow to get to the plot..
I love it
Great movie , a lot of history, plenty of action.
It was so boring. Half the theater was asleep
eye opening
Long and boring ... really nothing exciting
The plot was very slow
just a good solid movie..if not a little sad
One of the best of the year. Cruise continues to show that he is still a movie star.
Decent movie, a bit less exciting than I was expecting...

The film is a little too polished and slick to really provide the slap in the face of the U.S. government it intends to deliver. But as a means for Cruise to shake off the dust of movies like “The Mummy” for something more substantive, it more than succeeds.
Above all, there is Tom Cruise, whose career was in the ascendant, with “Risky Business” (1983) and “Legend” (1985), in the frantic years covered by the second half of American Made. Because he has changed so little in the interim, and mounted so uncanny a resistance to the onslaught of time, we feel, with a jolt, that we are gazing up at a star as he both was and still is. Astronomers may flee the cinema in confusion.
