Alpha is set 20,000 years ago and follows the journey of a young man (Kodi Smit-McPhee, X-Men: Apocalypse) who has been injured during his first hunt, then left for dead. Separated from his tribe and on his own in the harsh wilderness, he sets out to tame a lone wolf that has also been left behind by its pack.
