Atom User Reviews for A Star Is Born Encore
we didn't watch the movie when it was released last year but always heard it is great! So we watched this encore version. It is a three-hour movie. Music is great. Very good acting. The ending scene made me cry like a baby with running nose. Wish I had tissues with me. The whole movie feels very heavy since the very beginning bcs you can feel the struggling of Jack throughout the whole movie. Anyway, it is worth to watch it if you have not!
Nothing amazing but I almost cried. Now I wanna watch the original.
It made me realize that I just might be in love and not know it.
Encore version was great. Lots of good moments added if you’re a fan of the movie. There were two well-done moments added that really stood out. Other than that, I didn’t think the theatrical cut was much different. Still would recommend any big fan of the theatrical version to see this extended version while it’s out!
3rd time seeing it

A well-seasoned, handsomely cured slab of showbiz schmaltz that hits all the right pleasure centers. With equal parts glitz and grit, Cooper has successfully navigated the most perilous shoals of making a classic narrative his own, managing to create one of its best iterations to date.
When it hits its highest, most resonant notes, Bradley Cooper’s remake of A Star Is Born—starring the director alongside pop icon Lady Gaga—achieves a triumphant, romantic ache that is often just what we want to experience at the movies.
