Slow start but could have been worse.
A fantastic effort with some amazing scenes and dynamics, none of that super "bro" nonsense that plagues most war movies.
It’s all very easy: a feelgood war tale from what feels like a distant age.
Fuglsig’s job was to document, commemorate, and inspire. He does all three.
In essence, it shows that what the “horse soldiers” did was pretty remarkable — efficient, daring, effective.
