This year’s Super Bowl might not have been one of the most eventful in playoff history, but at least we got an avalanche of new movie trailers and TV spots to keep us wildly entertained from whistle to whistle, right? Some of them were only 30-second spots, so if you missed one or two when you stepped away to grab another beer or load up on some more chili cheese dip, keep reading. We’ve collected them all here for you.

Wonder Park

This is the second trailer for Wonder Park, a sweet kids’ movie about a girl, June, who stumbles across an old amusement park and brings it to life with the power of her imagination. It was a straightforward trailer, but with voice work by actors like John Oliver, Kenan Thompson, Mila Kunis, Jennifer Garner and Matthew Broderick, it should be as entertaining as it is delightful.

Wonder Park is in theaters on March 15, 2019.

Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark

The Guillermo del Toro-produced Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, the adaptation of the classic Alvin Schwartz books that scared an entire generation of kids, dropped a total of four quick TV spots during the big game. Fans of the original books worried that the movie would dial down the scary and veer away from creepiness of the original artwork, have no fear – so far, the designs look like they were ripped straight from Stephen Gammell’s illustrations. Check out the other three teaser spots below:

This promo campaign is definitely giving me flashbacks to my childhood when I’d read the books in one sitting and then spend the next three nights lying awake in terror in my bed.

Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark is in theaters on August 9, 2019.

Us

Honestly, who would have thought even three years ago that one half of Key and Peele would go on to become one of the most revolutionary horror directors of our time? Not us, that’s for sure. But Jordan Peele looks set to terrify us again with Us, the follow-up to his groundbreaking Get Out. Every trailer dropped so far has been atmospheric and deeply unsettling without giving anything away. Between this and his Twilight Zone series coming later this year, Jordan Peele is set to become the new king of our nightmares.

Us is in theaters on March 22, 2019.

Alita: Battle Angel

The latest spot for Alita: Battle Angel, which 20th Century Fox has been pushing hard in the weeks leading up to its release, opens up with Mahershala Ali’s character paraphrasing Satan’s famous quote from Paradise Lost: “I’d rather rule in Hell than serve in Heaven.” As the crime boss of the seedy underworld of Iron City, he’s made it his kingdom and from his kingdom he will rule. The CGI of the movie has people wildly divided and this TV spot definitely won’t change that. But the cast is stacked and it’s a safe rule of thumb to never bet against James Cameron when it comes to sci-fi spectacle that pushes the boundary of movie technology, even if he is only in a producer role.

Alita: Battle Angel is in theaters on February 14, 2019.

Avengers: Endgame

“Some people move on. But not us. Not us.”

The first full-length trailer for Avengers: Endgame was grim, to say the least. It featured a Steve Rogers at the end of his rope, with little hope. Luckily, the Super Bowl TV spot saw our Cap back in fighting form, ready to kick ass and take names because he never quits on his team – even if that team is ostensibly dead and/or in another dimension. It’s really a testament to Marvel that they can air a 30-second tease with one line of dialogue that still sends chills down the spines of millions of viewers. Steve Rogers’ dialogue in this spot might as well be us, the fans, talking about saying goodbye to our characters after the events of Endgame. Not gonna happen, Marvel. You’ve made us love them too much.

Avengers: Endgame is in theaters on April 26, 2019.

Captain Marvel

Higher, further, faster. That’s Carol Danvers’ motto and that’s exactly what she’s aiming for in the new Captain Marvel TV spot. This spot is brief but packs in a lot of action: flying, piloting, punching, kicking, shooting photo blasts in space, and what looks like Carol punching a freaking plane out of the sky. All I have to say is, if this is how powerful Captain Marvel is twenty years ago, just imagine how leveled up she’ll be by the time she crosses paths with Thanos in Endgame. The giant California Raisin of evil won’t know what hit him – literally and figuratively.

Captain Marvel is in theaters on March 8, 2019.

Hobbs & Shaw

There was nothing new to see with the Hobbs & Shaw trailer that aired during the Super Bowl, honestly. It was simply a green band recut of the red (well, red-ish) band trailer that dropped on Friday (which you can watch above). But seeing Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham snark at each other in a reluctant buddy comedy team-up is always a good time, and we support anything that gets more of it on our screens, even if it’s not entirely new footage. Is this trailer ridiculous? Yes. Yes, it is. Are we looking forward to this movie to the point it’s almost embarrassing? Yes. Yes, we are.

Hobbs & Shaw is in theaters on August 2, 2019.

Toy Story 4

For its third TV spot of the Big Game, Disney dropped another little tease for Toy Story 4. This one gave us another look at Bunny and Ducky, the new characters voiced by Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael Key. This whimsical spot featured Woody and Bo Peep searching for Buzz Lightyear, who has somehow accidentally gotten himself stuck on the wall of prizes in a carnival game. Much to his annoyance, Bunny and Ducky decide to kick him out of their former spot – quite literally, as it turns out. After the heartbreak that was Toy Story 3, it’s nice to see the trailers leaning heavily into the whimsical humor that makes Pixar movies instant classics. Expect Toy Story 4 to be no different.

Toy Story 4 is in theaters on June 21, 2019.
