Don’t mess with Nick Fury’s eye patch.

That’s the big takeaway from Samuel L. Jackson’s disdain for the error on one of his character’s posters for the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home. On Sunday, Jackson posted on Instagram “The Actual F*** IS GOING ON HERE???!!!” in response to a poster that features Fury with his eye patch over the incorrect eye. See his post below:

Jackson has played SHIELD’s Nick Fury since his end-credits cameo in 2008’s Iron Man. He most recently played the iconic Marvel hero in March’s Captain Marvel (albeit a mid-’90s version of Fury) and in Avengers: Endgame.

Sony Pictures, the studio distributing Far From Home, have not commented on the marketing gaffe. Fury is expected to play a key role in the Spider-Man sequel, which is tracking for an impressive $150 million-plus opening over the Fourth of July weekend.

Spider-Man: Far From Home — with Fury’s patch over the correct eye, his left — swings into theaters July 2. Tickets are on sale now below!
