DRIVE-IN FLIX RULES AND WAIVER

YOUR OBLIGATIONS AND REQUIRED SAFETY PRECAUTIONS REGARDING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

The State of California, the County of Los Angeles and Carson have established mandatory regulations to address the COVID-19 public health crisis. These Rules are intended to implement relevant state and local health and safety regulations, comply with the Order of the Health Officer at the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health, and ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants.

COVID-19 has created inherent risks associated with being in public places or in proximity to others including contracting COVID-19, serious illness, death, and transmission of COVID-19. We have to work together to try to keep each other safe and healthy. In order to attend the Drive-In Flix event, you agree to comply strictly with the following rules and procedures, as well as all other directions posted or communicated at the Drive-In Flix event. Any failure of any occupant of a vehicle to observe these rules will require all the occupants in the vehicle to leave the Drive-In Flix event immediately. By attending the Drive-In Flix event, you agree that you will follow all the directions below, are voluntarily assuming any and all health or safety risks by attending the Drive-In Flix event, and agree to waive any legal claims to the fullest extent permitted under California law against Drive-In Flix and any partners associated with the event that may arise from your attendance.

  1. Drive-In Vehicle Parking. No more than four (4) people from the same household may attend per vehicle. No pets allowed. Park your vehicle head-first in designated spots as directed by onsite attendants. Vehicles will be spaced to observe social distancing. Oversized and open top vehicles are prohibited, including large vans, limousines, mopeds, motorcycles, RVs, and scooters.
  2. Face coverings. Secure face coverings over the mouth and nose must be worn by every occupant of your vehicle upon entry and at all times outside your vehicle. All event personnel will wear face coverings. Drive-In Flix encourages the wearing of masks inside of vehicles.
  3. Health Screening Questionnaire and Temperature Check. Each vehicle occupant is required to take his or her temperature before arriving at Dignity Health Sports Park. If you have a fever of 100.4 F or higher, stay home. Each vehicle occupant is also required to review the Drive-In Flix Health and Symptom Screening Questionnaire prior to attending (see below). At the entrance, each vehicle occupant must affirmatively confirm again that they do not have any symptoms of illness, before being allowed to enter. Any person exhibiting or acknowledging any symptom of illness will be denied entry and a refund will be provided.
  4. During the Movie. All vehicle occupants must remain inside their vehicle, except to use the restrooms. Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Use of lawn chairs, portable chairs, blankets, or seats outside of a vehicle is strictly prohibited.
  5. Restroom. Restroom facilities will be available onsite, however, Drive-In Flix encourages the use of restrooms before arriving. You must observe social distancing of at least six feet between people other than household members. Please observe the floor placards while waiting in line. Secure face coverings over mouth and nose must be worn at all times. Restrooms will be sanitized both prior to and during the movie.
  6. Snacks. Snacks will not be available onsite to minimize individual interactions. Vehicle occupants are welcome to bring snacks to be consumed in their vehicle only. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted. Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all areas.

Drive-In Flix reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone and direct any vehicle to leave the premises in its sole discretion. Personnel will be actively monitoring for compliance.




Health and Symptom Screening

Please carefully review the questions below.

  1. Are you currently experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms or have you experienced COVID -19 symptoms within the past 14 days, including but not limited to:
Cough
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Fever
Chills
Muscle pain
Sore throat
New loss of taste or smell
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
Diarrhea
  1. Do you have a fever of 100.4 F or higher?

  2. Have you been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are you still experiencing symptoms?

  3. Have you been diagnosed with COVID-19 and it has been less than 14 days since your diagnosis and/or since your symptoms, if any, ended?

  4. Have you had close contact (within 6 feet for 15 minutes or more) with someone who has been diagnosed with or suspected to have COVID-19 within the last 14 days?

  5. Have you been directed to self-isolate by a public health authority or by a healthcare provider due to potential exposure to COVID-19 within the last 14 days?

If your answer is “yes” to one or more of the questions above, stay home.

If your answer is “no” to all of the questions above, you are permitted to visit the Drive-In Flix event.

You will be required to review and respond to these questions again at the time of entry.
